How to Keep Your Bathroom Clean

Cleaning your entire bathroom daily may sound like a chore. But, keeping your lavatory tidy and clean on a regular basis is an easy habit that only consumes 5 minutes of your daily schedule.

Below are some tips that can help you in making cleaning simple and quick:

 

1.    Eliminate Moisture

Nothing helps in delay fungus stains like a dry shower. Pull the curtains close when you are not using them. One can hang a squeegee on the shower and wipe all the walls, tubs andtoilet door after using it. Some extra minutes can be very helpful in maintaining the tidiness of your lavatory. Zap all the moisture of bathroom by simply opening the window and switching on the exhaust fan. Leaving the window open will dissipate the cracks and corners of the bathroom.

2.    Set the Cabinets

Order your cabinets into different categories to avoid cluttering in the lavatory. Set apart the medicines, cosmetics and hair tools in you vanity. An organized bathroom will automatically look cleaner and clutter-free.

3.    Sanitizers and Cleaners

Use long lasting anti-bacterial cleaners to avoid bathtub rings that are result of use of oily and abrasive products. These effective sanitizers help toilets, sink, tubs and tiles to resist stains for several days.

4.    Coat doors and Shower wall

Use water repellants in some portions of bathing space to keep it moisture-free all the time. The water repellents help soap scum, water and minerals to run off without the need of scrubbing.

5.    Natural ingredients magic

Chemical products don’t remove dirt and tough stains, leaving harsh chemicals behind. You can use natural ingredients to clean your tiles like gentle soaps, mild shampoo and baking soda.

6.    Towel bars

Install tower bars in your lavatory to give it a tidy look. Simply hang them across a bar to eliminate space need.

7.    Skip Soap from Sink

Avoid placing sticky soaps on the sinks for hand washing, you can put a sanitizer or hands-free soap dispenser. Eliminate grimy soap dish and countertop stay cleaner.

8.    Clean the pipes

Give your pipes preventive cleaning every month, clear hair clogs, grease and oil. Take ½ cup of baking soda to ½ cup of white vinegar. Mix the solution and let it stand for few minutes. After few minutes, pour boiling water in the drain to rinse all the clogs.

9.    Clean the shower liners

Clean your shower curtains and liners by running them in washing machine using mild laundry detergent and hot water. Air dry the cotton, vinyl, hemp and synthetic liners properly. If you don’t want to wash them in washing machine, then scrub them with hands using a mixture of 1 part of bleach and 10 parts of water.

10.    Unclog the Shower Holes

If your showerhead is clogged with calcium and mineral deposits then, take a plastic bag and fill it with undiluted white vinegar and tie the bag on the shower head so that it gets submerged in the bag. Seal the plastic bag with rubber band and leave it overnight. Next morning, scrub the head with toothbrush.
